Green Cheetah

I heard through several sources that J. Crew was having 40% off sale items earlier this week, so I hopped online to check it out.  I found a few things that peaked my interest, but I had never tried on anything at J. Crew before (shocking, I know!).  So I went to the store last night to see if they had the items I had my eye on.  Good news: they had several items. Bad news: the sale went down to 30% off.  However, if I would have purchased online, I would have paid for shipping and prices were higher online, so it all washes out.

I ended up going with the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in warm jade and the Blythe blouse in royal violet.  I was not planning on buying the top, but it looked amazing with the skirt! I wanted to wear my new outfit, but I wore purple yesterday, so I opted to wear my new skirt with my new cheetah scarf.  Plus, today was my annual review, so I wanted to look and feel awesome.  I think I accomplished that!

PS…I can't figure out if the skirt is a size too small.  I tried the next size up, and it was a touch big, but sales associate convinced me to buy the smaller size. Hope I can wear it more than once!
