Purple pencil skirt

I must first apologize for these horrible photos. I was excited about this outfit (and by the fact that I had time to take pictures!) but I am obviously not a photographer nor a decent style blogger. When I tried to take pics this morning, my skirt looked cobalt at first. Then I took the old closet picture and its really dark. I did photo attempt #3 when I got home from work before running to my hair appointment.

Anyway, I like the combo of the purple and teal. I kept my accessories simple (rose gold watch and medium gold hoop earrings) since the shirt's buttons were gold.  

Is it just me or does the skirt look blue in this pic?!


The color is much better but my mirror must be DIRTY!!

 Do you ever put on a piece of clothing and you instantly feel awesome? Pencils skirts do that for me!

    You are doing a great job. I actually look back at some of my first posts and wonder, "what the crap was I thinking?!?" pics of just my torso with the old Blackberry and very poor quality. We just learn a we go. :)

    Great skirt by the way, I love the color!

      Nicole - can you believe my watch is from Kohls?! I wasn't 100% sure I would like the rose gold, so I didn't want to throw down a lot of cash at first.
