Liebster Award

I thought I would start off Monday with something fun...an award! The fabulous Rachel from Life Unsweetened nominated me and I feel so honored and excited! The Liebster award is given by bloggers to up and coming blogger. The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. How cute is that?! 

So, here's the deal:

11 Things About Me:

1. I'm always hungry. I feel like I eat all the time, but I do try to eat 5-6 small meals a day. 
2. I have lived in 4 states. 
3. I am the maid of honor in 2 weddings next year. One is my sister's wedding, and one is my best friend from middle school. I am BEYOND excited and honored! 
4. The only reason I know how to spell confidence is because I was a cheerleader in grade school. Who remembers this cheer? CON--FID--CON-FID-ENCE. WOOOO!! ;-)
5. I love Sirius XM radio, especially Cosmo Radio 109. 
6. Christmas is my favorite holiday! The only time my house feels complete is when I have all of my Christmas decorations in place. Half of my attic is full of Christmas decorations, and I even have the red and green Rubbermaid tubs for all of my decorations (I probably have 7 tubs, but that number tends to increase each year). I also love spending the holiday with my family, and celebrating the season. 
7. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. And I will also turn 30 on Friday the 13th.
8. My two favorite places in the world are my grandparents house in the country and Fushimi Inari in Kyoto, Japan. 
9. I have a squishy nose. People in high school found this amusing, not really sure why.
10. My ears are double pierced. I feel weird when I'm only wearing 1 pair of earrings. 
11. I wear my socks inside out (except my gym socks). I don't like the seams touching my toes.

11 Questions from Rachel: 

1.  What’s your favorite part about blogging? I think its making new “blogger friends” and getting fantastic ideas from them. I love checking out everyone’s outfits, recipes, home décor ideas, and daily lives!
2. Who is your role model?  My mom and my grandmother. They are such strong women and provide so much love and happiness to my family. I am sincerely lucky to have them in my life.
3. What is your least favorite food?  Baby corn. It completely freaks me out! 
4. If you could trade lives with someone, who would it be?   My sister. She is so incredibly happy with her fiancé, she is kicking butt in her career, she’s a fabulous cook, she has amazing friends and a pretty awesome big sister ;-) 
5.  What’s your most embarrassing moment?  I was brand new to my office and someone sent an office wide email saying they had several puppies that needed good homes. I (thought I) forwarded the email to my family saying that would be an awesome birthday present, but I hit reply all instead of forward! I received several emails saying “Happy Birthday” and one or two letting me know that I sent it to the wrong people. OOPS!
6. Who is your celebrity crush?   I have always had a crush on Will Smith. I’ve called him my husband for years! Although Michael Bublé is a close second...that voice! 
7. What's your dream job?  Probably something with fitness (like owning a gym/personal training business) or something with animals (owning an animal shelter or a pet day-care). 
8. Chocolate or vanilla ice cream? Chocolate! Unless its Handel’s Ice Cream then I pick Spouse Like a House (vanilla ice cream with chocolate-covered-peanut butter-filled pretzels) 
9. What do you do for a living?   I’m a district manager. I travel A LOT. I fly sometimes, but mostly drive, which equates to about 40k miles a year. 
10.  Do you have a hidden talent? Nope, I'm boring.
11.  What’s your favorite pizza topping?  Chicken and veggies! (but no black olives, please)
