However, my body had other ideas. On Saturday and Sunday last weekend I woke up at 2am with chest paints and couldn't get back to sleep. I don't know why, and the pain continued off and on through out the week. I think it was a form of heart burn (which I've never had before). You can imagine that this took a toll on my workout schedule.
Tina's goal is to have you workout at least 5 days a week, as well as accomplishing 2 of your personal goals every day each week. She provided 3 different workouts, with links to videos. Tina also has cardio plans, but they were a little confusing to me. I must be honest, I didn't complete any of the workouts in their entirety. I did moves from Workout A and B, and didn't get to Workout C. Not feeling my best had me resorting to my familiar fitness moves.
My two personal goals for the week were to do a plank every day and to not drink any alcohol I was able to do a plank 4 days, and only drank 1 night last week. I also was able to complete 4 workouts (she refers to them as activities). Along with the blog blurb last week, I only accomplished 2 of the 4 goals for the week. One of the super cool parts of the program is that if you accomplish 3 of 4 goals for the week, you are entered into a weekly cash drawing. Its obviously on the honor system, and I don't have the ability to lie, so I won't be entered in this week's drawing based on the fact that I only completed 2 of the 4 goals for 5 days last week.
What are you doing for fitness lately? Have you set a goal or two for yourself to improve your well being this year?
This makes me look extra lazy haha! I want to work on gaining some weight back that I lost the past year (anxiety mehhhh)- any tips!?
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't! I am not a nutritionist or a personal trainer, but I think if you eat 5-6 small meals a day (should include protein, healthy fat, and carbs) and work on some weight training, that should help you. Protein shakes would help too. Good luck!
DeleteWow, you are all set to go haha! I'm just getting back in the groove of working out (last week went 3 times, this week trying to go 4) and sticking to running and my pilates/cardio dvd :) then maybe some boot camps!

That's awesome Rachel! Its hard to get back into a routine, but I feel so much better when I workout on a consistent basis.
DeleteWhat a great start to the week! And you are so organized :) I'd like to work out at least 5 days a week...but some days I'm just so lazy!
