Training Tuesday - BBBC week 4

It's that time again! Training Tuesday and my week 4 update from Tina's Best Body Boot Camp!

This week I did a really good job with all of my goals. I consciously took Friday completely off from my workout as well as my two weekly goals.

My first goal was to track my food intake each day. I don't want to be one of those people that is super obsessive over calories and carbs, but I do want to watch my nutrition and make sure I'm not going overboard, which is easy for me to do.

To track my intake, I use an app called Calorie Counter by FatSecret. They have apps for Android, iPhone, iPad and a website...so it makes it easy for me to use on all of my devices. You can also track your exercise each day, which doesn't exactly work for me because my exercises are all over the place. However, I like this app over others because with my work travel, I eat out A LOT. Since restaurants are notorious for being unhealthy, I like to look at the nutritional information on my app before I make a decision. It helps!
My second goal was to a plank each day. With the plank, I wanted to go just a little longer than the day before. Most days I accomplished this, but I did at least 1 minute each time. I really want to increase my core strength so I think I'm going to continue this goal. I also want to try some of Tina's plank variations!

How are you doing on your fitness? Do you like to do planks?

  5. I'm sorry that calorie counters don't have the foods that you eat, that is a bummer. But you're right on the plank....its only 1 minute out of your day!
