Training Tuesday - BBBC week 7



Another short and sweet post for Tina's Best Body Boot Camp. My recap is for week 7 (last week), which means this week is week 8, the final week! I will give a full recap of the program next week. However, week 7 went well.

Two goals: Read before bed (which I've done in the past) and talk to my Grandmother. She's been doing well after her surgery, and I think our little chats this week have helped!


I did want to share a little bit about my fitness this past weekend. I was slightly hungover on Saturday morning after a super fun night out with friends. I needed to do some sort of workout, but I knew that my normal HIIT would NOT work. So I went to a yoga class at my gym. Let me tell you, yoga totally helps with hangovers! I felt much better after an hour long stretching/mind calming session.

Then on Sunday morning, I did my regular HIIT at the gym. I had just finished and I was getting ready to do some stretching when a lady from the Saturday yoga class approached me and asked me to join her for yoga. I said sure! It happened to be just the two of us and the instructor which was fabulous. The instructor tweaked some of my poses and taught me some new moves.  And I made a new friend at the gym! YAY me!

My friend Jerod has really gotten into yoga and I enjoy seeing his progress and the joy/calm/satisfaction he gets from yoga. I am hoping to incorporate more yoga into my life.
