But in true Christmas style, I will be exchanging the shoes. I ordered a 6 1/2 because I usually wear a 7 and apparently Zara doesn't believe in a size 7. However, they are a little large, so I need to exchange them for the 6. Of course, the size 6 is currently unavailable, so I am on an email alert list to be notified once they are available. I wanted them ASAP, but my patience will be tested. Crossing my fingers they come back soon!
The second package was my MacBook Pro, with keyboard protector. And like a kid on Christmas afternoon, I have been playing with my expensive new toy since I got home. I have already set up a few things: email, calendar, downloaded Google Chrome. I also signed up for a MacBook workshop at the Apple store Sunday morning. Hopefully it will be educational and not a complete waste of time.
I am currently trying to get used to the trackpad. My MacBook Pro is replacing my 7 year old iBook. I am semi-familiar with the Mac operating systems, but the Lion OS is a huge upgrade from my old system. I don't even remember what OS is on it, its been a while since I actually used it. I've been using my work laptop mostly, which is just bad.
Do any of you have MacBook tips for a semi-new Mac user?
Oh man! So sorry about your ZARA sizing! I will cross my fingers for you that they can get your new pair sent out STAT!
ReplyDeletePS - your food survey was so much fun to read!
Thanks Skylette. I should have known to order the 6 based on the measurements they gave, but I usually wear a 7 and it was hard to mentally order a 6. O well, live and learn!
