Snowstorm = Online Shopping Spree!

For the holidays, I have been in a remote town in Northern New York. While I love spending Christmas here, the only after-holiday deals that can be found is at the local shops (think beautiful Christmas decorations at 50%) and online. So, my credit card and I have been doing a little damage. Here's what "we" found:

I'm kinda glad that I'm being snowed in up here instead of home where I would do a LOT more damage at the stores! I REALLY need to start setting a monthly budget for myself.... What have you purchased since Christmas??  How do you set your monthly shopping budget?

      I hope they aren't too heavy, but I'm excited for them! There is a matching necklace but it was over my price range.

    Budgeting. What's that?!?!?! No, seriously.........I have little self control. And I think that'll be my resolution. Budgeting. I've heard that putting cash in envelopes works. When it's gone, it's gone!

    Oh man, why'd you have to tell me?! Haha I told myself that January is a no online shopping month... so I have 5 days to buy everything I want :) Those earrings are so pretty!

    I went out the day after Christmas and blew through $100 easy, haha. Thankfully, it was all great sales! Old Navy in particular is having unbelievably low markdowns. I got a black knee-length pea coat for $17! And they have $5 cardigans, tons and tons of tops for $4-11, etc. Stop by if you ever get out of the middle of nowhere, NY! :)

    I have that Forever 21 rhinestone necklace and LOVEEE it!! When I'm stuck inside I always turn to online shopping... such a bad habit because my bank account hates me for it!

    I do have a budget - $150 a month which is 5-8% of my monthly income. I'm working on sticking to it!
