Prayers and Wishes

First, I just wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU to everyone who kept my beloved Mamie (grandmother) in your thoughts and prayers on Wednesday. She had surgery on her heart, and it ended up being a little more involved than they expected.  However, they were able to fix what they went in for (as well as more issues that were found) and she is resting in the hospital. She has a long recovery ahead, but she is SO strong.

My Mamie is one of my favorite people in the whole world. I can do no wrong in her eyes. She is my #1 cheerleader and a constant source of laughter. Here she is modeling a fabulous (aka, crazy!) Derby hat and matching clutch...I obviously get my fashion sense from her!  Continued thoughts and prayers are much appreciated!


I also wanted to wish my beautiful sister a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You guys may have "met" her when I blogged about her engagement last summer. Today she is the big 2-6 and I cannot believe how much she has grown up. I am so proud of what she has accomplished and I am so excited to celebrate with her tomorrow!

Dang, looking at these pictures made me I realize that I have a pretty stylish family!
