Scarf turned Snood

I wrote this post over a month ago and totally forgot to publish it!

Dress: BR Monogram (old)
Blazer: (old) {similar}
Scarf: J. Crew {similar}
Wristlet: Old Navy {similar}
Shoes: {Nine West}

Sorry I couldn't find anything similar to this dress. I remember the day I bought it. I was out traveling for work, and decided to dip into the mall instead of sit in my hotel room all night. I saw this dress and it was on sale, but still a little more than I wanted to spend. I tried it on anyway and it looked great on me. I was sad, and almost walked out with it, until a sales consultant told me everything in the store was an extra 40% off! I think it was close to $200 originally, but I got it for something around $50? SCORE!

I wore this to an evening work cocktail reception. I felt business like but still stylish. And I was super excited about how I turned my scarf into a snood! I did wear other accessories like grey pearl earrings, my watch, and my favorite bracelet. But I guess I took the pictures before I was fully ready!
