Random Wednesday Wishes - Bow/Stud Earrings

1 / 2 / 3

Since I didn't receive a Valentine's Day gift from a boy (except for the beautiful flowers from my friend!), I decided that maybe I will buy myself some cute, girly stud earrings. My ears are double pierced, and I almost always wear stud earrings. I currently switch between: 2 pairs of diamond studs, pearl studs, sapphire studs, and a new pair of small diamond hoops.

I narrowed my choices down to almost all Kate Spade (I did throw a Tory Burch in there!), and mostly bows. Other than that, I can't decide! Which ones would you choose?

My favorite part of Wednesday...linking up with the ever popular Shanna!

1. I still need to do my taxes, and I'm kinda freaking out about it. I hate doing them, I always worry that I missed something and I'm going to get audited and put in jail for tax fraud. Obviously, thats a bit extreme, but there is SO much information!

2. I've heard a lot of people talking about Dr. Oz's 3 day cleanse (and Jessica actually blogged about it!) and I must admit, I'm intrigued. I am a FOOD LOVER....like, I could eat all-day-every-day. I try to eat healthy, but sometimes its not an option. And sometimes those darn Birthday Oreos show up and I crumble with weakness. I think my body might appreciate getting rid of some toxins and "pushing reset."  However, I'm scared that only drinking juice for 3 days will leave me very hungry. And let me just tell you, its NOT pretty when I'm hungry. Also, juice is not enough nourishment after workouts. So...we shall see.

3. Last Friday-Sunday with my amazing grandparents and mother. My Mamie had heart surgery a few weeks ago, so I wanted to go visit her to brighten her spirits. After an 11 hour drive, mom and I were there! Since we arrived Thursday night, my grandfather had Valentine's Day cards waiting for both mom and I. How cute is that?!

The rest of the weekend was basically spent relaxing (I did hit the gym though, felt great!).  I wanted to do something nice for my grandmother, so I decided to paint her nails for her. She picked from the 3 shades of pink I bought her for Christmas. When I was finished, I was proud of my work, but I wanted to add a little spice. I asked her if I could add polka dots to one of her nails, and she looked at me like I had 3 heads! But she let me do my thing, and let me tell you, her nails ROCKED! She was a little confused that I old did one nail, but I explained to her that its the "in" thing to do. I posted the pic on Instagram (thanks for all of the love!) as well as sent it to my female cousins. All of them raved about it!  So of course, I had to have nails to match. I don't think I've had a prouder moment ;-)
