Training Tuesday - BBBC week 6

Short and sweet post for week 6 of Best Body Boot Camp! Here's how my week 6 went....


For my 2 goals, I went with more mental health than physical health. I wrote 5 positive things each day, i.e. : "Your arms looked amazing in the gym today," "3 guys totally checked you out during your workout," and "You have wonderful family and friends that love you!" It was nice to compliment myself!


My second goal was to give up Facebook. I was only going to do it for a week, but then decided that it would be a good Lenten challenge to avoid Facebook for 40 days. This may not be a big deal to some people, but for a girl that checks FB at least every hour from her phone, and before and after work on the laptop, giving up Facebook is a huge deal! And ya know what, I haven't died. The world hasn't stopped turning. I feel like I may be missing a few things in my friends lives, but nothing I can't catch up on.

Since we're talking about mental health, I just have to mention my friend Ashley's blog Self Soul Space. Ashley blogs about fitness, health (both physical and mental), her family, and her spiritual side. She is the master at balancing her family, her (very busy) travel career, and keeping herself grounded. Check out her blog!
