Training Tuesday - Music Motivation

I haven't done a Training Tuesday post in forever! But I feel like I haven't had much fitness motivation lately, which is VERY unlike me. I've had a lot on my mind lately (not abnormal) but I have been letting it affect me negatively instead of positively.

Usually the gym is a stress release for me, and music is an important part of that. So, I decided to put together a playlist of "AJ's Essential Workout Songs" to share with all of you! These are songs that always pump me up when I hear them.


I like music that either makes me angry (like I'm going to run the fat right off my body!) or that make me want to dance/bounce around the gym. Eminem was big in my high school days, and his songs always make me feel strong. Michael Jackson songs are just fun. And if you've never heard the Calabria 2007 song...download it now. I call it the "whoop whoop" song...and it ALWAYS makes me want to shake my booty!

What are some of your favorite workout songs?

I definitely need to get my butt in gear because for some reason I decided that doing another Tough Mudder would be a good idea. SERIOUSLY?! Do I not remember the craziness of the first one?! And its in 27 days. WOAH! Pray for me....
